Download pegasus mail from www.pmail.com
(click on the 'downloads' item on the navigation bar, choose the site nearest you, and click on the 'download'
button next to the entry for the 32-bit version.) Be sure to get the 32-bit version (win95/98/NT).
Save the file to a temporary directory (like C:\temp)

Open Windows Explorer, and browse to the directory where you saved the file.
Double-click the file, and the blue installer screen will appear.
Click 'next' to go to the next screen
Click 'next' again to go past the description
Click 'next' to accept the default install directory (c:\pmail)
Click 'next' to accept the default install components
Click 'next' to accept the default program group
Click 'next' to install
Click 'finish' after the files have been copied

When the installation is finished launch Pegasus Mail by clicking on Start > Programs > Pegasus
Mail for Win32 > Pegasus Mail for Win32

Pegasus Mail will now walk you through the setup process. The first screen you should see is
the Setting up mailboxes window. Select the first icon labeled: Click here if there will
only ever be one person running Pegasus Mail on this computer

In the Setup information window, accept the default of where the mail-related files are stored
- this should be correct if you accepted the default install in the earlier steps

Click on Next in the Pegasus Mail Internet Setup Wizard

Enter in your email address as indicated on your Welcome Letter. Click on Next

Enter in popmail.real-time.com for the popmail server. Click on Next
-
Enter in your username and password, as indicated on your Welcome Letter. Click Next

Enter in mail.real-time.com as the SMTP Mail Server. Click on Next

Select how you connect to the Internet, either Dialup or Network. Click on Next

Click on Finish

With Pegasus Mail open, select Tools > Internet Options

In the Internet Mail Options window, select the Sending (SMTP) tab. Place a check in
box next to Login using my POP3 settings for username and password. Click on OK

Click on the far right globe to send and receive email
