Outlook 2011 on Mac OS X Configuration

When you first launch Outlook you will be asked which account type you want to create. Select the second option, E-Mail Account.

Enter in your email address in the E-Mail address: field. Then enter in your password in the Password: field. The window should then expand to display more options.

Proceed with filling in the following information:

1. In the User name: text box, enter in your full email address
2. In the dropbox labeled Type: select POP
3. For the Incoming server: text box, enter: zimbra.real-time.com
4. Place a check in the box next to Use SSL to connect (recommended) - the port number should update automatically to 995
5. For Outgoing server: text box, enter: zimbra.real-time.com
6. Place a check in the box next to Use SSL to connect (recommended) - the port number should update automatically to 25

Click on the Add Account button in the lower right.

The next window will show a summary of the account settings. Click on the red circle in the upper left area of the window to close it.

The setup of Outlook 2011 is now complete.
