Setting up & Configuration of Netscape 4 Email

1. Launch Netscape 4

2. Click on Edit and select Preferences...

   

3. Now, double-click on Mail and Newsgroups and a menu will drop down. Click on the first option, Identity. Enter in your first and lastname in the Your name: field. Enter in your email address in the Email address: field.

   

4. Next, click on Mail Servers from the Category: menu.

5. Click on the Add... button.
   

   

6. Enter in popmail.real-time.com in the Server Name: field. Select POP3 Server from the dropdown menu. Type in your username in the User Name: field. Click on OK.

   

7. Enter mail.real-time.com in the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: fiend. Enter in your username in the Outgoing mail server user name: field. Click OK.

   

8. Launch Netscape Messenger by clicking on the icon in the lower right toolbar.

   

9. Click on the Get Msg button to check for new messages.
