How to Enable Cookies
- Select Edit on the browser menu bar
- Then select Preferences
- Click on the arrow in front of Privacy & Security in the Category menu
- Click on Cookies
- Place a check next to Enable cookies for the originating web site only
- Click OK
How to Enable Java and JavaScript
- Select Edit on the browser menu bar
- Then select Preferences...
- Click on Advanced in the Category menu
- Place a check next to Enable Java
- Expand the Advanced menu tree by clicking on the triangle
- Place a check next to Enable JavaScript for Navigator
- Click OK
Using a Cache Server
- Select Edit on the browser menu bar
- Then select Preferences
- Click on the arrow in front of Advanced in the Category menu
- Click on Proxies and select from one of the following:
- Place a check in front of Manual proxy configuration and enter in the proxy server URL
in the HTTP Proxy: field and specify a Port number
- Place a check in front of Automatic proxy configuration URL: and enter in the URL
for the server in the text field
- Click OK
Passwords
- Select Edit on the browser menu bar
- Then select Preferences...
- Click on the arrow in front of Privacy & Security in the Category menu
- Click on Passwords in the Category menu
- Place a check in the box next to Remember passwords in the Password Manager Section
- Place a check in the box next to Use encryption when storing sensitive data in the Encryptying
versus Obscuring section
- Click on Master Passwords in the Category menu
- Select one of the options in the Master Password Timeout section
- Click OK
Pop-up Windows
- Select Edit on the browser menu bar
- Then select Preferences...
- Click on the arrow in front of Advanced
- Click on Scripts & Windows
- Remove the check in front of Open unrequested windows
